Patricia Eberwine Tenenbaum
Biography
Ms. Eberwine’s practice focuses on complex business litigation. She has achieved highly favorable results representing clients in high-stakes litigation over a variety of matters, including professional liability, corporate governance, commercial contracts, unfair business practices and business and environmental torts. Prior to joining Trépanier Tajima LLP, Ms. Eberwine was a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, Cooley LLP, and Crockett & Associates.
Ms. Eberwine is experienced in all aspects of civil litigation, including appellate practice in state and federal courts, conducting complex discovery and trying cases to verdict. Notable achievements including obtaining summary judgment on behalf of one of the largest privately held companies in California on derivative causes of action, negotiating favorable settlements on behalf of a public utilities company with billions of dollars of potential legal exposure, and obtaining dismissals on behalf of individual corporate directors in a complex business tort and dissolution matter.
Ms. Eberwine received her J.D. in 2008 from the University of Southern California Law School. While in law school, Ms. Eberwine served as editor-in-chief of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and received the Shattuck Award for being among the five members of the graduating class who demonstrated the greatest potential for becoming outstanding members of the Bar and making significant contributions to the community. Ms. Eberwine graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Bucknell University in 2005, with a B.A. in International Relations and Russian.
